    • How do you become a member in-store? How old do you have to be and what ID do you need to show?
      To become a member at a Video Ezy store you'll be required to complete and sign a membership application form. Generally you need to be 18 years of age or older to become a member, and there is no cost to join.

      To support the application 3 forms of identification may be required eg: Medicare Card, Drivers License, Credit Card. We recommend taking the time to fully read and understand the terms and conditions associated with becoming a Video Ezy member. These terms and conditions form part of the membership application form you'll complete in store.
      How many days can you rent a New Release Movie, TV Series and Games?

      Many stores have special deals on different days of the week. Please check with your local store, as some stores may vary.
      If I'm a Video Ezy member at one store, does that membership transfer to stores nationally? If not, can I sign-up as a member at a different Video Ezy store and have more than one membership?
      Your Video Ezy Membership in most cases will be valid only at the store where you originally signed up. You may be able to hold multiple memberships - it would be best to identify which additional stores you'd like to join and then contact them directly to check membership requirements and conditions.

      What is Kid of the Month?
      You don't have to be a grown-up to love Movies, TV Series and Games! Kid of the Month is a feature written for kids, by kids and included on the Family Fun page of Ezy Entertainment Magazine. Our favourite Kid of the Month entry will have their photo and review/drawing featured in the magazine, plus they will win a great kids prize pack.   • How to use our new website

    • How can I find a movie I’m interested in?
      We've included several ways you can find exactly what you're after!

      Firstly you could type the name of the movie, TV series or game into the search box conveniently located at the top right of each and every page. Once you start typing the name we'll even give you some hints on what we think you're looking for, and you can easily then select one of our suggestions and hit the “Search” button. You can also type the name of an actor into the same search box to find all of their movies or TV series.

      Secondly you could click the "Advanced Search" link located under the search box, where you can enter any number of search terms (like actors, director, year released, whether there are any special features, or a large number of other options. You're bound to find what you want!

      Thirdly you could click on either Movies, TV Series, Games or Family & Kids from the menu bar, and we'll show you some great trailers plus the top 5 new, popular and all time favourite titles. You can then use the refine filter situated on the left of this page to refine the results we show you based on whatever is of interest to you. Select your favourite classification, the genre you're after, your favourite actor, or even a keyword appearing in the synopsis of the film.
      Tell me more about the refine filter on the left of the search pages
      The refine filter is designed in a way that allows you to quickly and easily customise your title search to your preferences. Have you ever wanted to find all action DVDs that are rated PG and were made between 1990 and 2000? Or how about all PlayStation3 shooter games rated M? Or even all DVDs about Santa? With our refine search bar this is all so easy! The refine filter shown on a page allows you to filter down the results shown to you by excluding titles you are not interested in.

      Either select the option of interest to you (e.g. "DVD" from the "Format" group, or "Shooter" from the "Genre" group), or type a single keyword (such as "Santa") into the text box and we will quickly update the results shown to you, making sure whatever we show you is exactly what you want to see.

      Want to narrow your search results even further? In that case keep selecting refine filter options until you find exactly what you want.
      I've seen a title I want to rent another time. Can you remember what the title is for me?
      We sure can, thanks to our new playlist functionality. To get the best results from your playlist we recommend you become a member of the site and login, so you can access your playlist from any computer anywhere in the world by simply logging back into your Video Ezy account.

      You can add a title to your playlist by clicking on the "Add to Playlist" icon shown next to the title on either the search results page or the title details page. If you select an incorrect item, just click on the "Remove from Playlist" icon to remove the title.

      To access your playlist, click on the My Playlist tab at the top right of each and every page of the site. From that tab you can scroll through the items added to your playlist, or click on the "View full playlist" button to see your entire list in one page, complete with the title's synopsis and key information. From this page you can even print your entire playlist to take with you into your local Video Ezy.
      Can I use the Playlist if I do not want to become a member of the site?
      You can still use the playlist even if you don't want to become a member. Just remember that your playlist entries are saved only on the computer you were using when you added it to your playlist, and that everyone in your family will have the same playlist. That's why we recommend you become a member and login to store your own individual playlist accessible from anywhere.
      How do I become a member of the site?
      The "Login/Register" tab is featured at the top right of each and every page of the site. Click on "Login/Register", then click on "Register me now" to become a member of the website. We will ask you for some information about yourself so we can provide you with personalised recommendations on the site, and will ask for your address so we can give you great offers for your nearest Video Ezy store. Finally you can select your regular Video Ezy store, which can either be your local store or any other store around the country. Doing this will allow us to give you great offers for this store, and also let you quickly access key information about your store (like the phone number and opening hours) once you log into the site.
      I was a member of the old Video Ezy website, can I use these membership details on the new website?
      Absolutely, simply click on the "Login/Register" tab at the top right of each and every page, and enter the username and password you used on the old site to log into the new site.
      What are the orange speaker logos that I can see in my internet browser's title bar?
      Those little orange speaker boxes are RSS feeds, which stands for Really Simple Syndication. Basically this is a way that you can access the latest release and recommendations releases on our website, right from your favourite web browser, email program or dedicated RSS program. Please see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS if you are interested in more information on what RSS is and how it works.

      The most common RSS readers are Google Reader, NewsGator, My Yahoo!, Bloglines, or any number of other RSS readers available for your computer desktop, internet browser or smartphone (such as iPhones). For information on how to subscribe to RSS feeds from one of these readers, please check the individual instructions for each reader.

      On our new website, we publish a list of the latest movie releases, game releases, TV series releases, most popular rentals and titles coming soon. When you subscribe to any of our website RSS feeds, you will receive the latest details as soon as they have been published on our website!
