Synopsis: In Nazi occupied France, young Jewish refugee Shosanna Dreyfus witnesses the slaughter of her family by Colonel Hans Landa. Narrowly escaping with her life, she plots her revenge several years later when German war hero Fredrick Zoller takes a rapid interest in her and arranges an illustrious movie premiere at the theater she now runs. With the promise of every major Nazi officer in attendance, the event catches the attention of the "Basterds", a group of Jewish-American guerilla soldiers whose job it is to spread fear through out the Third Reich, led by the ruthless Lt. Aldo Raine. As the relentless executioners advance and the conspiring young girl's plans are set in motion, their paths will cross for a fateful evening.

  • The opening scene to this movie is intense! Then it all dribbles away into a long winded jib jabbering festival of rants. It is however a good fantasy war movie based on how a lot of people wished world war two could have gone.

  • I rank this movie a 4 star I enjoyed it, as a girl i am not really interested in this genre but I enjoyed this movie. My boyfriend on the other hand loved it he would rank it a 5 star.

  • Just another brilliant movie from Tarantino! The storyline is funny at times, but still shows the evil of the Nazi empire. The ending has some unexpected twists. A must see if you want to experience a very clever movie. Top entertainment.

  • Being a Tarantino film I was expecting a great film and certainly wasn't disappointed! Rover's comment about throwing away your preconceptions of "war movies" was spot on - this film has everything to keep you glued to the screen for the whole movie!

  • Well this is another flop for me the problem with this one was they spoke in French & Germany most of the film < NOT happy Jan ! ... it had about 24 different chapters trying to understand this movie was impossible NOT RECOMMENDING this one at all. Give it a real miss stay far right away and Brad Pitt this must be the worst movie he has ever made Crappy?
