On June 6, 2011, Paul Simon ended his So Beautiful or So What tour of small clubs and theaters in the United States. The concert played to triumphal reviews. Known for a career-long commitment to creating exceptional concert experiences, Paul Simon and his eight-piece, multi-instrumental band brought his full show to the intimacy of Webster Hall-an historic, 1200-person club in New York.
The concert traverses his incredible body of work including songs from Paul Simon, Rhythm of the Saints and Graceland, through this year's commercial success and artistic masterpiece, So Beautiful or So What.
The concert was produced and directed by the same producer/director team that created Eric Clapton's Crossroads concert DVDs, Cream at Royal Albert Hall, as well as last year's television and CD/DVD success, James Taylor-Carole King, Live at the Troubadour, and numerous others. Shot in HD with an eight-camera crew, and recorded pristinely, the cd and dvd both comprise a 20 song treasury of Simon's brilliant musical output.
